5 people business owners can write notes to

This morning I was writing my daily handwritten notes. The goal is to write 3 to 5 a day. I want at the end of each year to have written over a thousand notes.

Easier said than done. Thinking of a thousand people to write to isn’t easy. You have to get creative.

I’m a big fan of handwritten notes as you have probably already guessed.

After writing my notes earlier today, I thought to myself I should write a blog post on who business owners can send a handwritten note to.

Here are my 5 that you can send a note to today:

  1. Of course, your customer. This could be any customer. You pick. First time customer. Customer that comes in the most in one week. Again, you pick.

  2. How about asking your customers who you could send a handwritten to that they know isn’t a customer? Put a gift card to the local ice cream store and tell them how much you appreciate his friend that shops with you. And let them know that you all decided to treat them to ice cream.

  3. If you have a Facebook page, send your top fan a handwritten note thanking them for hanging out on your page and giving those likes and shares.

  4. Send a handwritten note to one of your employees that you caught doing something cool or going beyond the call of duty.

  5. How about send one to another local business owner and let them know you’re pulling for them to do well.

There you go. Now go write them notes. I promise you they make a difference.
